Corporate culture transformation
Case details
Problem
A key employee unexpectedly submitted their resignation.
An initial meeting was held with the company’s management and the key employee. It became clear that the conflict had been developing for a long time. The employee had repeatedly tried to resolve it using the tools available to them as a department head. However, the conflict was organizational and involved not only their department but the company as a whole.
The conflict had already begun to damage the business. Conflicts of this kind are group conflicts.
Solution
Group conflicts require specialist methods that differ from classical mediation and include additional procedures.
As a result of Concord Prism’s work, management identified clear gaps in the company’s wider corporate culture.
Result
It took approximately two and a half months to achieve the following result: the company made substantial changes to its internal documentation, reviewed every aspect of its corporate culture, introduced a mediation-led approach and established an internal mediation unit.
Concord Prism experts continue to provide mentoring support through training, business games and dedicated working sessions.
